Raised the camper body to accommodate larger tires. Larger tires allowed me to raise the GVWR from 1090 lbs to 2000 lbs, which was the axle rating. The previous rating was limited by the tire load range.

Steel Plate fabricated and mounted to frame to raise the camper box higher above the axle
Axle Plate close-up
Close-up of axle mount bolted to bottom of riser plate.
New hubs installed to mount the larger wheels (from 4 lug to 5 lug)
New larger tire on the right
Torquing Wheel
Finished. Old tire (left) as a comparison. BAL single wheel chock keeps trailer wheel secure.
New step was required, as the trailer body is now 4″ above the original axle mount and the larger tires raised it another 4″ or so.
